It will travel to Haiti with me on my next trip. I will post pictures of Gerald Toto Alfred of Haitian Band Boukman Eksperyans helping the little munchkins from the block learn some things on it since they are always begging to play Gerald’s guitar.

Our move is finally complete. We have moved everything from the Delmas 24 location to the new location on Rue Saint Charles in Carrefour.  Most of the supplies are still packed because the new location does not have enough shelves for our books and we are still in need of tables and chairs. We are in desperate need of donations to cover all of the expenses we already incurred and will incur before our reopening this summer.

Come see Haiti Reads at the Chicago VeganMania fair this Saturday, Nov. 5, 10 am – 5 pm at the Pulaski Park Fieldhouse, 1419 W.
